Damenbart was a supposed unknown krautrock project from 1971 whose tapes were mysteriously handed over to Christopher Heemann and released on DOM Elchklang records in 1988. However, the story behind the album is now thought to have been a fabrication created by Heemann himself, and that it was actually recorded by him at some point in the mid-80s.
