Current 93 are a highly influential neofolk group, they have been considered one of the genres major pioneers as well as being a major influence on the apocalyptic folk genre. The bands only consistent member is David Tibet, who has collaborated with many different famous neofolk/industrial artists such as Douglas Pierce, Michael Cashmore, Rose McDowall, and Boyd Rice.
