Critical Mass is an electronic project from the Netherlands. First formed in 1992 by electronic musicians Dave van Hasselaar and Ed Bout, it
wasoriginally a noisy, aggressive act, but changed its sound in 1995 to a happy hardcore sound after the subgenre exploded into the
Europeanmainstream. As a result of this change in sound, vocalists Ludmilla Odijk and Danny Haenraets joined Critical Mass in early 1996, and this
lineupwould go on to record a few singles until their disbandment in 2000.
