Coverdale and Page was a musical collaboration featuring vocalist David Coverdale (Whitesnake, Deep Purple) and
guitarist Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds). The project began in 1991 at the suggestion of American A&R executive John
Kalodner. The collaboration resulted in one album, released in 1993. The album was a huge success, reaching number 4 in the UK and number
5 in the US. But after a series of concerts in Japan, sluggish tickets sales for a subsequent world tour resulted in the partnership being
dissolved.
