Confessor is a rather quirky, interesting band from North Carolina. They signed with Earache Records in the early nineties, but their style was quite unlike the hardcore/death-oriented bands associated with Earache, instead opting for a twisted, doomy musical style with wailing vocals over the top. A pretty original sound, maybe sounding a little like a more adventurous Solitude Aeturnus in places.
