Circle of Dead Children is a grindcore band formed on October 31st, 1998 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The title of the band is derived from a vision shared by all the original members of the band in which there was a circle of flags from various countries around the world, each depicting an image of a dead and mutilated child of that nationality. After their self-titled demo, CODC signed on with Willowtip and S.O.A Records to release their first full album, "Starving the Vultures." After their self-titled demo, CODC signed on with Willowtip and S.O.A Records to release their first full album, "Starving the Vultures." Since then, CODC has been signed to Robodog Records, Necropolis Records, Deathvomit Records, Martyr Music Group, and displeased Records. They are currently signed with Willowtip once again. The band since its debut has undergone many linup changes to "The Circle" as they call themselves, such to the severity that only two original members, Joe Horvath and Jason Andrews, still remain. Despite this, CODC has remained active, releasing their latest album "Zero Comfort Margin" just last year. « hide |
