Cardinal Sin was a melodic death/black metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Formed by guitarist John Zwetsloot when he left Dissection in 1994, Cardinal Sin released one EP and played one live show before essentially disbanding. Cardinal Sin reformed in 2003 with a partly new lineup. Their current status is unknown.
