Caravan Palace is a French electroswing band formed 2005 when the group's founding members Arnaud Vial and Charles Delaporte were hired by a
production company to write the music for silent pornography films. The band soon formed a three piece and began to gain internet fame following
a series of demos and singles. From 2006 to 2007 they toured around France. Following their emergence they were signed by Paris based record
label Wagram Music. On October 20, 2008 they released their eponymous debut album which peaked French charts at #11 for 68 consecutive
weeks.

The french electroswing group blends a unique style of 1930's jazz/swing music with modern electronic influences like House music, drum n bass
and dubstep. The band's influences include Django Reinhardt, Vitalic and Daft Punk.
