By-Sexual are a legendary visual kei punk band from Japan, first formed in 1988. Within just two years, By-Sexual were among one of the most
successful first-wave visual kei bands around, and were praised for their unique pop punk style, making them a jewel among visual kei fans.
They split in 1998, due to a dramatic decrease in sales, but reformed in 2011, initially to help the Japanese tsunami efforts. Not too long later,
the band announced that they would return for good, under the new name, By-Sex.
