By Phar the Dopest are a Japanese hip hop duo that originally formed in 1995. Consisting of emcees Kreva and Cuezero, the duo
initially released its only album, which was self-titled, in June of 1998. By Phar the Dopest, however, ended up splitting by the
end of the year, and both Kreva and Cuezero went on to solidify themselves a highly respective role in the Japanese hip hop
scene. However, in 2006, By Phar the Dopest reunited, and, although they have yet to announce an official disbandment, the
latest album that By Phar the Dopest released was "Dakara Doushita!", which was released in December of 2006, and have been
on a mysterious hiatus since 2009.
