Box Car Racer was started by blink-182's Tom Delonge and Travis Barker. Tom started writing darker music that he knew wouldn't work forblink-182, so he started a side band called Boxcar Racer. The band is similar to blink, but much more romantic and dark. Their music is amixture of punk, rock, and pop punk.
