Boowy were a highly influential rock band from Japan. Forming in 1981, their music varied all over the rock spectrum, thus
bringing them fans of all ages and of different backgrounds. They broke up in 1988 for unknown reasons, however, they are still
as influential as they ever were. Inspiring various rock bands throughout the years, it brought them more exposure long after
they broke up. They are often credited as a band that helped form the modern Japanese rock scene as everyone knows it.
