Based in Georgia, Boondox' style fuses Southern hip hop and horrorcore with elements of country, rock and blues, and lyrics inspired by Southern folk tales and exploitation horror films like The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Twiztid's Jamie Madrox has called Boondox "Leatherface on the mic".
