Described as 'downtempo, sludgy and reverb-filled pop sounding somewhat like the 60's underwater', Beach House is formed by Baltimore duoVictoria Legrand (vocals, keyboards) and Alex Scally (guitars). The band gained notoriety with their second album "Devotion" (2008) and went on toreceive critical acclaim with their third album "Teen Dream" (2010).

The band is also notable for it's many famed fans, such as Julian Casablancas (The Strokes), Ed Droste (Grizzly Bear), Roddy Bottum (Faith No More),the members of MGMT and both Jay-Z and Beyonce who have been spotted in the audience during their 2010 Coachella performance.
