Formed in 1986 and is known for being one of the first bands described as post rock. Hailing from England, their debut album, Hex (released in 1994) was considered a cult classic. Their sound is slow, but not brooding. It has obvious jazz influence heard in the percussion and horns/woodwinds. BP broke up after the release of Hex, but reformed (without the drummer) to record and release ///Codename:Dustsucker a decade after Hex.
