Artillery

Artillery is a Danish thrash metal band. Originally formed in 1982, they participated in the early development of the genre. Theirhighly energetic, riff-centric and often fast-paced music was similar in style to that of Slayer and Megadeth, but also took afterthe technical thrash created by the likes of Heathen and Coroner. They first disbanded in 1991, reuniting in 1998 to record oneadditional album, then split up again in 2000. The group reformed for a second time in 2007 and has remained active, releasingtwo new albums since.
