Artifacts were El Da Sensei and Tame One, a notable East Coast hip-hop duo; they split in 1997, the same year of their second album release followed a brief unofficial reunion performance in 2008. They rapped about every aspect of the Hip-Hop culture and life on the streets of Newark, New Jersey a.k.a. Brick City.
