Art of Noise was a cult experimental-new wave group from London, England that first formed in 1982. Influenced by the likes of Kraftwerk and Yellow
Magic Orchestra, Art of Noise's quirky style garnered a large international underground following throughout the 1980's. They are best remembered
for the singles "Close (To the Edit)" and "Paranoimia", the latter featuring popular 80's television personality Max Headroom. Art of Noise originally
disbanded in 1990, but reformed temporarily from 1998 until 2000.
