Armored Saint is a Los Angeles-based heavy metal band. The band was formed in 1982 by singer John Bush, guitarists Dave
Pritchard and Phil Sandoval, bassist Joey Vera and drummer Gonzo (the brother of Phil Sandoval). Following a split the band reformed to
record albums in 2000 and 2001, parting ways once again until John Bush’s leaving of Anthrax.
In 2006 they have enjoyed a series of successful shows across California and then Europe, and this year, they released their newest studio effort La Ranza, their first for nearly a decade.
