Native American hip hop artist Anybody Killa (ABK), born James Lowery on July 26, 1973 in Detroit, Michigan, is a Lumbee tribe member; as a
rapper, he was greatly influenced by Lumbee and Cherokee storytelling learned through his aunt and mother. ABK started his career as a
member of the group Krazy Klan under the name "Jaymo", and began his solo career as "Native Funk", releasing one album under that name,
before signing with Psychopathic Records under his current alias. Following two LPs and an EP on Psychopathic, ABK left the label in 2006 and
formed his own label, Native World Inc., where he briefly released albums and merchandise before returning to Psychopathic in 2008.
