Formed in 1991 in Sweden, Anglagard was one of many Swedish bands to participate in the revival of progressive rock in
theearly 1990's, at a time when most of the big names in prog were dead. They released Hybris (1992) and Epilog
(1994)before disbanding. They briefly reformed from 2002-2003, and again in 2009, where they began recording anew,
releasingViljans Oga in 2012.
