"Angels and Airwaves" are a project by former Blink-182 guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge. "Angels andAirwaves" were founded in 2005 after Blink-182 announced their official break-up. Their debut "WeDon't Need To Whisper" was released May 23, 2006. The band began work on their follow up to "WeDon't Need to Whisper" early in 2007 with Tom stating that their sophomore release would be acontinuation of the first record. On April 19, 2007 Ryan Sinn (The Distillers, Love Equals Death) leftthe band due to difficulties with the band. He was replaced by 30 Seconds to Mars bassist MattWachter. "I-Empire" was released on Nov 6, 2007 after a few delays with the first single being"Everything's Magic". On February 12, 2010, the band released their third album "Love" for free on itsModlife page.
