Allele was formed in 2002 by vocalist Wally Wood and Lane Maverick, who formerly played guitar for Otep. The guitars were rounded out by ex-Cold
axeman Kelly Hayes, who would only serve as a session guitarist for the band's debut album. Allele is signed to Corporate Punishment records, and
two singles - "Closer to Habit" and "Stitches" - have been played on active rock radio.
