Agent Steel is a thrash metal band from Los Angeles that formed in 1984. Their sound can
be described as thrashy, but with a speed/power metal edge most prominent in the vocals
section. Lyrical themes usually center around conspiracy theories, aliens, or other topics
related to science fiction.
Their first album, Skeptics Apocalypse, was released in 1985 with vocalist John Cyriis at the
helm. Another EP and album were released in the following two years before the band split
up in 1988 due to personal problems involving John Cyriis.

In 1999, Agent Steel reunited with a new vocalist, Bruce Hall, along with a new bass player
and drummer. The band has released three albums with this lineup, the most recent being
Alienigma. (Released August 31, 2007).
