Abigail Washburn is an American singer-songwriter who performs and releases original music that has been billed as "Appalachia and folk-pop, with
tinges of Asia and Bruce Springsteen." Having spent a large part of her early life moving from place to place, her music contains a multitude of
American influences, including the penultimate Americana folk artist Woody Guthrie. In addition, her musical trajectory has been shaped greatly by
her time performing with the band Uncle Earl. She continues to perform with Uncle Earl as well as tour by herself and with the group Sparrow Quintet.
