In 2005 Fiddy had another renaissance year, sweeping all forms of media with a hit album, video game, and film. Late 2007 saw the release of Curtis and sold well in the earliest weeks due to a heated promotional rivalry with Kanye West. 50 Cent released Before I Self-Destruct in late 2009.
