Zimmer's Hole is a humorous thrash/speed metal band from Vancouver, Canada. It includes Byron Stroud and Jed Simon from Strapping Young Lad. Zimmer's Hole was a local band as early as 1994, with their first studio album being 'Bound By Fire' in 1997 (re-issued on Century Media in 2003). Vocalist Chris Valagao also provides backing vocals on mostly every Devin Townsend solo release. As of 2008, Gene Hoglan has replaced former drummer Steve Wheeler.
