Tower of Rome was a grindcore band from Chicago, IL that formed in 2003 and made their debut in the underground scene with a demo released on
HardcoreMP3.com. After being signed to Hewhocorrupts, inc and releasing their 9-minute LP All Is Lost... in 2004, the group began to make a name
for themselves amongst the MySpace math-y grind scene. They issued a split CD with Gun Kata in 2005 and followed that up with World War 1,
their second "full"-length, in 2006 before being put on hiatus later that same year due to touring difficulties. In 2007, they reunited and played some
shows before quietly killing themselves again that same year, this time for good.
