Hacksaw to the Throat are a band hailing from San Francisco Bay.
The band began as a two-person grind project, which went on to become a four person death metal act. Now-a-days you cannot really define their genre, they experement with all types of music and have many influences, ranging from Slayer to Opeth to Radiohead to Fugazi. Because they have such wide influences, it's hard to define what genre they fit into.
Their debute album entitled 'Tear My Eyes Out...' could be defined as a melodic thrash-grind album.
