According to their biography, Vestascension are "a group of five close friends that have set out to make music we would enjoy listening to. We
then offer that music to anyone else that would like to listen to it as well at no cost." During 2011 the self-described "dream rock" act released
one song for free at the beginning of every month of the year over Bandcamp, with the aim of completing an album's worth of songs by that

reformed with new vocalist Brian Wade in 2012 to release the beautiful "Until We See the Ocean" before again falling quiet. After almost a two-
year silence, Vestascension returned in September 2014 to announce the release of their debut full-length "Breaching the Sound", featuring the
original nine songs released in 2011-2012 re-recorded with their new vocalist plus three brand new tracks. "Breaching the Sound" is set for
