The absolute embodiement of punk-rock'n'roll. Most people quite simply won't get what The Cramps are about. But, to those who find themselves being drawn into the counter culture of degenerates,ingrates, and other bastards, you will find sanctuary with this band. Albums like 'The Smell of Female', 'A Date With Elvis', 'Stay Sick!', and 'Fiends of Dope Island' truly define the twisted nature of this crew. Frontman Lux Interior's sneering Elvis impression fused with a Captain Jack Sparrow-like demeanor, gives The Cramps it's undeniable presence! Throw in the raucouse seduction of Miss Poison Ivy's guitar riffs and you have the best American Band since... ever!!! Fans of The Butthole Surfers,White Zombie, and The Misfits can take notes to see how it all is really done.
