Gedo are a legendary Japanese psychedelic rock band that formed in 1973. Initially the group split in 1976, only being active for
three years, but they reformed in 1979 and lasted until 1982. They again reformed in 1991 for a brief time, but then split for
over a decade. Since 2002, the group have been on-and-off in terms of group activity, but as of 2010, the group seem to be
back for good. They are known for their revolutionary heavy-psychedelic sound, a sound that many bands that would come
later would try to emulate.
