Beyonds are a legendary Japanese emo/post punk band that initially formed in 1990. Their earlier material followed a more
intense, hardcore-based style, although they adopted a much more emo-esqued style by the time they released their debut
album, "Unlucky", in 1993. Although they initially split up in 1994 and only released a handful of material, they were considered
to be true pioneers in the Japanese emo scene. They reformed in 2005, and have been touring and releasing material regularly.
