Andrew James Stockdale is an Australian hard rock musician, and he is the lead singer and lead guitarist of the rock band Wolfmother.
Stockdale's influences are cited among late-sixties and early-seventies hard rock and heavy metal guitarists. As a singer, he's compared to
Robert Plant and Ozzy Osbourne. His edgy and dynamic live performances are commonly compared to Black Sabbath's Tony Iommi, while his
style can often be compared to prog-rockers, such as Pink Floyd. In 2010, he played with Slash, former lead guitarist of Guns 'n' Roses, in
Slash's debut album in the song "By The Sword". In June of 2013, he has released his first album as an individual artist, entitled "Keep Moving".
One single, "Long Way To Go", has been released to promote the album.
