While their debut album, Mostasteless, only peaked at #149 on the Billboard 200, Twiztid would slowly gain a strong followin. In 2009, their release W.I.C.K.E.D. peaked at #11 on the Billboard 200. Allmusic reviewer David Jeffries wrote that Man's Myth (Vol. 1) contains "fat, [...] shockingly original" beats" and "tight loop[s]".
