Members Jamie Spaniolo and Paul Methric, performing as "Jamie Madrox" and "Monoxide", build from a love of comic books and horror movies while dealing with their own personal struggles and convictions. While their debut album, Mostasteless, only peaked at #149 on the Billboard 200, Twiztid would slowly gain a strong followin. In 2009, their release W.I.C.K.E.D. peaked at #11 on the Billboard 200. Allmusic reviewer David Jeffries wrote that Man's Myth (Vol. 1) contains "fat, [...] shockingly original" beats" and "tight loop[s]". Horror Yearbook wrote that W.I.C.K.E.D. is "the best record they have done to date", as well as being their "most original". « hide
