Hysteric Blue were a pop rock/punk band from Japan. Formed in 1997, the group wound up having decent success, and later
became one of the most well known pop rock bands in Japan of the early 2000's. Unfortunately, the band broke up in 2004 due
to the guitarist's infamous rape scandal, but the drummer (Takuya Kusunose) and vocalist (Mayumi Takeda) moved on to the
group, The Screaming Frogs, and later formed Sabao. Takeda also released a few solo albums under her stage name of Tama.
