Aron Erlichman (born March 2), better known by his stage name Deuce, is an American singer, rapper, record producer, and
songwriter.Brought to fame as one of the co-founders of rap rock band Hollywood Undead, Deuce has since branched into solowork through
10thStreetEntertainment. He is also involved in a movement with fellow rapper The Truth (William Aslanian Jr.)called "Nine Lives" (often
stylizedas'9LIVES'). It is unknown whether he was kicked out of the band for spending too much of the bands money and being antisocial to
them all, or whether as Deuce claims he was unfairly kicked out and given wrong information hence his departure. Many legal issues
surround him.
Deuce has released two albums and 3 EPs as a solo artists, as well as one debut album, one live album and a few EPs during his time in
Hollywood Undead. He has had artists such as Marc Bosserman, Tha Villa, Gadjet, Skee-lo, Jeffree Star, The Truth, Ronnie Radke, Veze
Skante, b.Lay and Travis Mcoy feature on his songs.
He has appeared also on other artists material, including artists like Eskimo Callboy, Blood On The Dance Floor, BrokeNCYDE and Arina Chloe.
Deuce uses a mixture of rap rock and hip hop music with elements of metal music, much like his former band Hollywood Undead and has
been compared to such, along with the early works of Eminem, particularly from his works off the debut album Nine Lives. Deuce's lyrics, a
lot like Hollywood Undead's debut album Swan Songs, tends to be a mixture of serious then sexual themes, often using explicit language,
however has been negatively criticized due to choice of wording and being full of himself, often calling the lyrics awful on most songs,
however some claim the songs to be catchy and cleverly done. However, on his second album he would take a much more rock/metal
approach mixed with rap and less vulgar language than previous works. His second album was released underground for free due to his old
record label preventing him from releasing it for commercial release. « hide |
