The Swellers
Pop Punk

Since their debut EP, Beginning of the End Again, The Swellers have established themselves both as a group of talented musicians and songwriters, but also a lean mean touring machine. Now with over 4 national and international tours already in the history books since the release of their debut as well as an unlikely success story in Japan, the band is just getting started. With the release of My Everest on June 5th, 2007, The Swellers continue the process of bringing high-energy punk rock to all corners of the U.S. and the world.

Originally raised up in the Flint scene located in one of the more depressed areas of Michigan, their new breed of melodic and driving punk rock incorporates pop sensibility, making listeners pump their fist, and belt the words to every hook. It is refreshingly honest and talented music. The craftsmanship in song writing distinguishes The Swellers from the average punk rock crew.

Two years after their national debut, The Swellers unveil their first full length effort. As a more diverse and introspective collective of songs, My Everest represents a natural evolution in their own unique sound with influences ranging from A Wilhelm Scream to Weezer. Discovering that there is more to punk rock than high speed tempos, My Everest seeks to explore all musical boundaries. This record is equally hopeful as it is pessimistic.
