This trio was formed in Los Angeles, California in 1999. It is made up of Carla Azar (drums and vocals), Greg Edwards (guitar), and Eugene Goreshter (bass and vocals). Azar and Edwards had previously been in bands (Azar in Ednaswap and Edwards in Failure) and toured together. They later met up with Goreshter to form a band with a unique electric rock type sound. This band is named Autolux.
On March 1st, 2001, they released a self-produced EP called Demonstration. Their music quickly spread.
