"Angels and Airwaves" were founded in 2005 after Blink-182 announced their official break-up. Their debut "We Don't Need To Whisper" was released May 23, 2006. The band began work on their follow up to "We Don't Need to Whisper" early in 2007 with Tom stating that their sophomore release would be a continuation of the first record.
