cousins Korn andDeftones in the alternative metal winner's circle. While The Elephant Riders failed to truly break Clutch into
the mainstream, 2001'sPure Rock Fury garnered the band their first hit single, "Careful with That Mic...". Clutch's DRT Records debut
Blast Tyrant arrived in 2004, becoming Clutch's most critically acclaimed release to date and netting them another successful single with
"The Mob Goes Wild". Theirnext two DRT releases, Robot Hive/Exodus and From Beale Street to Oblivion, featured organist Mick
Schauer (Clutch's only shift in personnel to date). In 2008, Clutch formed their own label, Weathermaker Records, and have since released 3
albums on it: 2009's Strange Cousins from the West, 2013's Earth Rocker, and their most recent album, 2015's Psychic
Warfare. « hide |
