Aurora Borealis is one of those death/black metal hybrids, with Vento’s (the band's main creative force) vocals slanting towards black metal and the riffing and drumming sliding a bit more towards death metal. There’s an above-average degree of technicality in Aurora Borealis's music, as Vento is a good guitarist and an adventurous songwriter. The band's songs mix technicality and brutality very well.
