Pure

Pure is a British power electronics act that at one point consisted of Skullflower's Matthew Bower as well as Alex Binnie and Alex Winsor. However, the project is better known as a one-man band consisting of only Bower, whom was the mastermind behind Fetor, an albumconsidered to be a classic in the power electronics scene. The original tape is shrouded in mystery and even its release date is the subject ofdebate, some claiming it to be as early as 1981 while others note that such a time-frame would mean it predates Birthbiter, the label it wasreleased on, which was established in 1986. Pure's music strikes a middle-ground between the more primitive incarnation of early powerelectronics and the death industrial acts it helped to inspire.
