CAPTAIN, YOUR SHIP IS SINKING was founded by five friends with a shared passion for atmospheric, intense and loud music. Drawing from a wide
range of influences, the captain plays mid-tempo screamo relying on both melodic delicacy and sludgy heaviness.
In 2008, the captain released a demo, which was later released on 12” vinyl by Moment of collapse records and Sadness of noise records. In the

In 2008, the captain released a demo, which was later released on 12” vinyl by Moment of collapse records and Sadness of noise records. In the
following years, a split 12” with Germany’s Mio came out and the captain contributed a track to the ‘Connections Pt.2’ LP. The captain has played
numerous shows in bars, livingrooms, venues, squats and basements in various European countries since 2008, supporting scene heavyweights
such as Comadre, Aussitot Mort, Raein and Trainwreck.
The Captain disbanded in 2012, playing their last show in The Loch in Enschede on April 24th. « hide |
