https://paroxysmal-descent.bandcamp.com/ In 2007, Mordance, whose real name remains a mystery, formed Brisbane solo-act Misanthropia [AUS]. Fairly quickly the name changed to its present form, though the music didn't, and from here, Paradigm of Decay was released during early 2009. Mordance's official website ensures that its listeners should "expect nothing more or less than a 35-minute Dis(ease) of darkness and filth", which is an appropriate graphical picture of the depressive-suicidal-black-metal Paroxysmal Descent adheres to. A split album was also released alongside Black Silence in 2008 entitled Into the Lightless Depths/The Suffering Within.
