No Bragging Rights

So-Cal metalcore group No Bragging Rights was formed in 1999 by vocalist Mike Perez at the tender age of 15. Between 2001 and2004, he and his groupstarted as a self-contained unit, putting out two demos and an EP on their own. The band rotated membersfor most of the 2000s, releasing the debutfull-length Because You Believe in Something Beyond Them, and then signing with PureNoise for The Consequences of Dreams. Following 2011’sIlluminator, the band’s fourth bassist amicably left the group. In 2012, theline-up was finalized with bassist Ryan Warrell, drummer Martin Alcedo, andguitarists Christian Lee and Daniel Garrow for Cycles. -Jason Lymangrover -- Allmusic
