The Field Mice

Signed to the famous Sarah label, the British band The Field Mice was one of the most important Twee Pop acts of the late 80'sand early 90's. Initially a duo from South London, made up of Robert Wratten and Mark Dobson, their first EP, 'Emma's House,' was released inNovember 1988. It managed to reach number 20 in the UK Independent Chart, but it was with their second single "Sensitive"thatfirst garnered them significant critical attention, giving them a top-20 indie hit. The band split in 1991 after a less than admirable tour to promote their third album 'For Keeps,' after lead singer/guitarist RobertWratten decided he was leaving, while still touring. « hide
