Madness
Ska

Alongside the Specials, Madness were one of the leading bands of the ska revival of the late 70s and early 80s along with one of the first two-tone bands. The band was an oddity in the two-tone world because of all their members being white. They were also heavily influend by Prince Buster, covering many of his songs. They were a mainly British phenonmon, but had one hit in America, with Our House. During their history between 1978 and 1986 they released 9 albums.
