Glasvegas are a Scottish band from Dalmarnock, Glasgow. The band is composed of James Allan (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rab Allan (lead guitar, backing vocals), Paul Donoghue (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Caroline McKay (drum kit). They released their self-titled debut album in 2008 on Columbia records, and it was only kept off the top of the UK charts by Metallica's Death Magnetic, released the same week.
