Formed in Ann Arbor, MI during the year 1997, Taproot has always been something different... With a unique blend of very
prominent influencesfrom Korn-esque groovy basslines and the aggressive rap-to-screaming combo style of Spineshank, Taproot
started out like every early Nu-Metal band... primal, aggressive, emotional, yet with a heavy dose of groove... where they went
from there was completely unexpected. Taprootis now a very bizarre yet beautiful band... one moment like Alice In Chains, the
next like Korn, and the next like nothing you've ever heard.
